Global Leadership

Class Curriculum and Framework

Global Leadership is a semester long elective class where students will focus on 21st century skill development and leadership training in a project-based learning atmosphere. We seek to provide students with an authentic and engaging learning experience that reflects the concepts of a Responsible Global Citizen. They will experience firsthand the diversity of people and the natural aspects of this planet. Service learning both locally and internationally will be incorporated.  An added bonus for some students is the opportunity to speak and assimilate the language as we are immersed in Costa Rica.   However, Spanish is NOT a pre-requisite for this class.

Students enrolled in Global Leadership will be part of a GL class the first semester of their 8th grade year.  During the second semester, the group will meet as a specialty ELO and will conduct their travel experience in February 2016.
